“Only the sacred ache of meaning withheld.”

p.315
Only the sacred ache of meaning withheld. Just a scream, sealed inside the soul—quiet, but constant. And at last, finally, weary from carrying the weight of not knowing, they laid down the burden—not in defeat, but in surrender. In each other, they found something older than clarity. A shelter softer than knowing. Shivers of a never-before-known safety moved through their limbs as they shed the weight of a lifetime’s ache—of being lost in plain sight, of being completely surrounded yet utterly alone, of being unloved, unseen, unknown.
